S.O.S. Out for Members!

S.O.S. Island came out a few days ago on Thursday! For Members only, of course. The goal is to rescue all of the passengers before the boat goes underwater. You can go under the water in the ship and swim, but with limited air.Then, after Members beat the island, they can play a bonus quest. You have to go down to the ship, which has sunk all the way underwater. It’s leaking oil, and you have to stop the leaks before you run out of air. Have fun playing it! Plus, Members get three free gold cards from the store.

I know I owe all you guys a contest. Sorry. I’m working on it. I’m open to ideas.

The release of S.O.S. Island draws ever closer. If you haven’t been keeping up with developments on our S.O.S. Island info page, then you may not have heard that this Island will include a special bonus quest for Members!

Everyone will still get the same great action and storytelling you expect from Poptropica — and S.O.S. Island has some amazing twists you’ve never seen before. But Members will get to go beyond the story, to find out what happens after the first tale is finished.

We’ll have more news about S.O.S. Island very soon!

We have two video thingymajigs today. What? I don’t know what to call them.

The first is a new trailer for SOS Island!

It’s looking pretty exciting! I think it’s loosely based off of the Titanic.

The second is not as awesome, but I’m posting about it anyway!

No that is not just a random picture. It’s a video on the Celebrity Clips section of the Daily Pop. That’s Lincoln Peirce. The title is CHECK THIS OUT!

This reminds me of Mystery Train. You spend the entire island on one vehicle. This time it’s a boat. That’s sinking. And you have to save everyone. So they don’t die. And so you you don’t die either. Actually, this is a lot different from mystery Train.

Legendary Swords has been out for six days, and beating all those wimpy robots is actually not that hard.

E. Vile: Hey! My robot minions are mighty and legendary masters of evil!

Angry Wing: Swords are legendary. Your robots are recyclable tin cans.

E. Vile: *runs off crying.* Why!

Angry Wing: I have to admit, I had a pretty great comeback.

Members get to play more of the game than the non-members do, unfortunately, but that’s all the more reason to get membership.

If you’ve played Legendary Swords, then you already know that you’ll find two powerful blades on your quest: the Rusty Relic and the Bolt.

But you may not have realized that you can use any sword from the Poptropica Store in Legendary Swords! It’s easy — just go to your sword inventory and select the “store” tab.

You can go straight to that costume in the Poptropica Store, and get it with your Membership or for Credits. Then you can use even more swords in the game, like the Dark Knight Sword and the Laser Sword.
